Become A Monster – Late Model Performance Clutches

NOTICE

All Monster Clutch Co. products are specifically designed and manufactured for performance driving applications. As such, certain inherent characteristics and traits are associated with these products. While Monster Clutch Co. endeavors to describe these characteristics in product descriptions, it is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to contact Monster Clutch Co. prior to purchase to ensure that the correct product is selected for their intended use and expectations.

Each clutch assembly is individually assembled and tested prior to shipment for three critical performance factors:

  • Lift: the ratio and distance by which the pressure plate separates from the disc.

  • Release: the clearance achieved at full stroke of the hydraulic system.

  • Plate Load: the force exerted on the disc(s), directly determining the power-holding capability of the clutch.

This testing process ensures that each unit is verified for proper function before leaving Monster Clutch Co.

Installation Warning: All Monster Clutch Co. products must be installed by qualified technicians. Failure to install, maintain, or use these products in strict compliance with all instructions and recommendations may result in serious bodily injury, property damage, or death. Clutch assemblies are heavy rotating masses operating at high RPM. Improper installation or misuse presents extreme hazards.

By purchasing or installing a Monster Clutch Co. product, the Purchaser acknowledges these inherent risks and expressly assumes all responsibility for any damages, injuries, or losses arising directly or indirectly from improper installation, maintenance, or use of the product.


Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by Monster Clutch Co. (“Manufacturer”) and applies solely to the original retail purchaser (“Purchaser”) of Monster Clutch Co. products. By purchasing, installing, or using any Monster Clutch Co. product, Purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the terms and limitations set forth herein.

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Clutch Assemblies
Monster Clutch Co. warrants that its clutch assemblies shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original Purchaser, provided that the product has been properly installed, maintained, and operated in strict accordance with all instructions, specifications, and guidelines issued by Monster Clutch Co.

1.2 Slave Cylinders and Other Non-Clutch Products
For all other products, including but not limited to slave cylinders, Monster Clutch Co. provides a warranty of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase by the original Purchaser, provided that the product has been properly installed, maintained, and operated in strict accordance with all applicable instructions and guidelines.

1.3 Billet Bearing Support Requirement
Any slave cylinder not equipped with a Monster Clutch Co. billet bearing support shall be expressly excluded from warranty coverage.

1.4 Remedies
If a product is determined by Monster Clutch Co., in its sole discretion, to be defective in material or workmanship, Monster Clutch Co. will, at its sole option, repair the product or replace the product. These remedies are exclusive, and no other remedies are available under this warranty.

2. Exclusions from Warranty

This Warranty does not cover, and Monster Clutch Co. shall not be responsible for, any of the following:

  • Normal wear and tear, as determined solely by Monster Clutch Co. support staff.

  • Damage caused by collision, accident, or external impact.

  • Damage or failure caused directly or indirectly by irresponsible driving practices, including but not limited to missed shifts, over-revving, or engaging incorrect gears.

  • Failure to store, handle, install, assemble, maintain, or use the product in strict accordance with Monster Clutch Co. instructions or guidelines.

  • Any modification or alteration of the product by the Purchaser, including but not limited to attempted re-balancing.

  • Installation of the product in a vehicle that is not in full compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Failure to use and install an appropriate SFI-approved bellhousing.

  • Damage to other products or components caused by a Monster Clutch Co. product.

  • Damage to a Monster Clutch Co. product caused by another manufacturer’s component, including but not limited to mis-adjusted aftermarket master cylinders, incorrect bellhousings, or incorrect slave cylinders.

  • Any costs associated with rental vehicles, substitute equipment, or loss of use pending repair or replacement.

  • Any costs incurred in connection with making a warranty claim, including but not limited to labor charges, removal and return of the product, shipping costs, or re-installation expenses. All such costs are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser.

3. Conditions That Void Warranty

This Warranty shall be deemed void if, in Monster Clutch Co.’s reasonable judgment, any of the following apply:

  • Under-clutching: selecting a clutch assembly with insufficient capacity for the vehicle’s power level or intended use. A clutch assembly may not be used as a “circuit breaker” for drivetrain protection.

  • Over-clutching: selecting a clutch assembly grossly exceeding the vehicle’s power level or intended use, resulting in premature wear or failure.

  • Subjecting the product to unreasonable use, misuse, abuse, or negligence.

  • Modification, repair, or disassembly of the product without prior written authorization from Monster Clutch Co.

  • Substitution of any non-Monster Clutch Co. parts or components.

  • Use of a slave cylinder without a Monster Clutch Co. billet bearing support.

Purchasers are strongly encouraged to consult Monster Clutch Co. prior to purchase to ensure the proper product is selected for their specific vehicle and application. Reliance on internet forums, social media, or other unofficial sources does not constitute due diligence.

4. Limitation of Liability

Monster Clutch Co. shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to labor costs, installation charges, loss of use, rental or substitute vehicles, telephone charges, or transportation expenses, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, in connection with the inspection, repair, replacement, or use of any Monster Clutch Co. product.

This Warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No distributor, dealer, installer, or other third party is authorized to modify or extend the terms of this Warranty on behalf of Monster Clutch Co.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

  • Purchaser must notify Monster Clutch Co. immediately upon discovery of an alleged defect.

  • Purchaser may be required, at their own expense, to provide supporting documentation, including but not limited to photographs, written statements, or other evidence, along with proof of original purchase.

  • Monster Clutch Co. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to inspect, evaluate, and test the product in any manner it deems appropriate.

  • Monster Clutch Co. will make the final determination as to whether the product is defective in material or workmanship and whether warranty coverage applies.

Returns

It is Monster Clutch Co. desire to provide you with not only the best made clutch components in the industry but also the absolute very best service! It’s no secret that sometimes things come up – whether that’s changing your mind or build, or just not needing what you purchased any longer – we try and make this as pain-free as possible to handle. Below are the policies we have on returns – they’re straightforward and clear cut, however, if you have questions or need more information feel free to reach out to us and we’ll be happy to take care of you!

There is a 30-day return window from the date of the purchase, see below for details –

  • All parts must be in new/re-sellable condition and be in the original packaging
  • Any parts that are installed/bolted up are not returnable
  • All return orders will be charged a 25% Restocking Fee.
  • Shipping is not refundable – in the event, the purchase was made during a “free shipping” sale the flat rate shipping amount of $59.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded
  • Any products sent back to Monster Clutch Co. must have an RGA attached to it, these are obtained from our tech support staff which can be reached via our Support Center – anything sent that does not have an RGA number clearly written on the outside of the package will be denied at the shipping dock – this is very important!

As stated above, to initiate a return of any kind you must contact our support staff via our Support Center and they will get all of the information necessary and will provide you with an RGA number and return shipping instructions. The RGA number is very important since we will not accept any packages unless they have a clearly marked RGA number on them, if they do not we will decline the package at the shipping dock.

Warranty Exchanges

In the event you need to exchange a part for a warranty replacement there are two ways to go about it – slow and quick, see below for details.

  • Slow Method – Contact support to receive an RGA number to get the part/parts that you want to exchange returned to Monster Clutch Co. – once they are received one of our agents will contact you with the options/details pertaining to your exchange.
  • Quick Method – Contact support to receive an RGA number, then go online and purchase the part that you want to exchange. When returning the old part make absolutely certain you follow the return shipping instructions and include the RGA number on the outside of the package – once received one of our agents will contact you as quickly as possible so that we can rectify the situation at hand.

Incorrect or Damaged Parts

In the event your order is damaged or items are missing/incorrect it must be reported within seven days. We understand we’re all human and mistakes/accidents happen – if you get parts that are incorrect, defective, or damaged upon initial inspection of your package stop immediately and contact support to get them swapped out – do NOT attempt to use them in that condition as it often times lead to much larger issues and may not be covered under our warranty. There are still two options to handle these exchanges, see the policy above to outline those options.

Cancellations

There will be a 25% restocking fee assessed on all cancellations – this is due to all orders being built to order, there are no exceptions to this rule. You have 30 days from the original date of delivery to return your product, this is outlined above. Refunds typically take 3-5 business days to show in your account, if you have any questions on this you may contact support at support@monsterclutches.com and they’ll be more than happy to go over your inquiries.

Refunds

All refunds are processed within 72 hours of the request, we ask that customers allow an additional 5-7 business days for the credit to appear on their accounts – this is due to the processing on the credit/debit card side of things and Monster has no way to speed this up. If you pay with PayPal the refund will be sent to your account minus the transaction fee, these typically show in a 24 hour period. All refunds will be the original purchase price minus a restocking fee of 25% and shipping, if you were given a “free shipping” promotion the flat rate shipping amount of $59.95 will be deducted from your refund.
